With 20 years of experience, my work covers a wide variety of digital and print projects. I have done work for established brands such as Nike, Virgin and the United Nations, as well as building new visual identities for start-ups, from the ground up. I have worked on both website and app product design, including user research, prototyping and overseeing the development of the final deliverable, defining the visual design system with both typographic and illustrated assets. I have managed numerous editorial projects for publishers such and Penguin Random House and Pan Macmillan, and have also directly assisted authors with self-publishing projects, producing beautiful, multi-format books.

But whether I am designing for screen or for paper, I strive to create user-centred designs that solve real problems for real people. I take pride in my attention to detail and the craft of beautiful typography as well as concept and quality.

I hold BA honours degrees in Information Design (University of Pretoria, 2000) and Illustration (University of Stellenbosch, 2011), and have completed studies in UXUI Design through Coursera, Memorisely and IronHack (2019-2021).

​

I have been a guest lecturer at the University of Pretoria and Vega School Cape Town, delivering courses on branding and the integration of illustration in design. I have also provided student mentorship for the Red&Yellow Creative School of Business internship programme.

I am very driven and have a strong work ethic which demands professionalism and the delivery of first class creative. Above all, I love what I do and have fun doing it.
